The Actions field in Dashpivot forms lets you create, assign, and track tasks (called actions) directly while filling out a form. This means you can turn issues, follow-ups, or repairs into assignable tasks without leaving the form — and your team members get notified when tasks are issued and completed.

Prerequisites

Before you begin make sure you have the following:

  • Plan: Standard or above

  • Permission: Ability to fill out forms that include Actions fields

  • Skills Required: Basic Dashpivot form usage

  • Device Type: Computer or mobile device with Dashpivot access

  • Subscription: Dashpivot Web access

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open a form that contains an Actions Field while filling it out in Dashpivot.

  2. Click Add Action in the form where the Actions Field appears.

  3. Fill in the details for your action, including description and assignment.

    • Tip: You can assign the action to multiple users if needed.

  4. Scroll down and click Sign to approve to issue the action.

    • Note: Assignees won’t receive notifications until you click Sign to approve.

  5. Once issued, the action will be created and linked to the form, making it easy to track tasks originating from that form.
