How to set up required fields in a Gearbelt form template

Set up required fields in a Gearbelt form template to ensure users must complete specific fields before submitting a form. This helps maintain data accuracy and prevents incomplete submissions.

Before you begin make sure you have the following:

1. Access the Form Builder for the relevant form template. Select the field you'll make required

2. In the right-hand side panel, tick the 'Required' box

3. This should reflect in your field, which should be labelled as Required

4. Click the green 'Save' in the top right corner to finalise your changes
