Understanding the Gearbelt Dashboard

Learn how to use the Gearbelt dashboard to monitor asset health, maintenance, inspections, and issues in one place

The Gearbelt dashboard provides a real-time snapshot of your asset performance, servicing status, and compliance activity. You can access it from the Dashboard section in the left-hand menu.

Below is a breakdown of each dashboard section and how to use it.

1. Inspections

The Inspections section gives visibility over inspection activity and findings.

Bar Graph
Displays the number of inspections completed over the last 30 days, including a breakdown of issues found.

Inspections Today
Shows today’s inspection progress in a percentage gauge (for example, 4% complete with 2 completed and 46 pending).

Click the gauge to go directly to Inspection Activity for more details.

2. Schedules

The Schedules section displays upcoming and overdue maintenance checks based on asset usage (hours or mileage).

  • Red progress bars indicate overdue servicing.

  • This helps your team prioritise urgent maintenance.

  • Click on an asset to open its profile and update service data.

3. Maintenance Overview

The Maintenance Overview section shows the total number of assets and their current servicing status.

For example:

  • 12 In Service (operational and up to date)

  • 1 Upcoming (scheduled for maintenance soon)

  • 34 Overdue (require attention)

Click the gauge to go to the Servicing section for a detailed review.

This section gives managers a quick overview of overall fleet health.

4. Issues

The Issues section provides insight into reported problems across your assets.

New Issues
Displays recently reported issues.

Issues by Asset
Highlights assets with the highest number of issues.
Click an asset to open its profile and review related issues.

Issues Summary
Sorts issues by severity.
Click the gauge to open the full issues list, where you can filter and rearrange results.
