Workflow notifications in Dashpivot Web allow you to select users or user groups who receive an email notification when a form moves into a specific workflow column. This helps keep relevant stakeholders informed as forms progress through a workflow.
Prerequisites
Before you begin make sure you have the following:
Plan: Active Dashpivot Web plan
Permission: Org Controller or Project Admin
Skills Required: Dashpivot
Device Type: Computer
Subscription: Dashpivot Web
Step-by-Step Instructions
Open the workflow template you want to update.
Locate the workflow column where notifications are required.
Select the bell icon at the top of the workflow column. The bell icon will turn blue to signal it's active.
Select the user or group who should receive an email notification when a form enters the column.
Repeat these steps for other workflow columns as needed.
To stop notifications, select the bell icon again and remove the selected user or group using the ร.
Permissions
You can select one or more of the following recipients for each workflow column:
Creator: The user who created the form.
All Contributors: All internal users added as contributors.
All Visitors: All external users added as visitors.
Only users with Org Controller or Project Admin permissions can set up or change workflow notifications; Team Members cannot.
Workflow notifications can only be sent to Dashpivot Contributors and Visitors; Sitemate users cannot receive them, and recipients cannot configure notification settings.
If using a Person Field in the form, check out this article for how to set up notifications using the person field.
Notification behaviour
The bell icon turns blue when notifications are active and grey when notifications are removed.
Notifications can be set for more than one workflow column.
Notifications are sent when a form moves into a column, including when it moves backward.
Multiple users or groups can be selected for each workflow column.
