How the Actions register view works in Dashpivot Web

Learn how to display all the actions in an organisation in both a register view and a workflow view

Written by Nina Yang

The Actions Register View in Dashpivot Web lets you see and manage all actions (tasks) created across your workspace in one central table. It provides a complete overview where you can filter, review, and act on tasks efficiently.

Viewing the Actions Register

  • Open the Actions Register View from the Home Folder, Project Folder, or within a Team Folder (depending on your permissions) to see actions at different levels of your workspace

  • Actions within the Project or Team Level display all the actions created from forms, within these corresponding folders

  • You can switch between Active and Archived sections to view ongoing or completed/archived actions.

Filtering and Managing Actions

  • Use the filter buttons in column headers to narrow down the list of actions (e.g., by status such as Draft, To Do, Completed).

  • Edit which columns display by using the Edit Column settings to tailor the view to your workflow. These column settings are also reflected in exports.

  • Archive actions directly from the register by selecting them and clicking Archive.

  • Add a new action quickly using the green Add Action button at the top right.

Workflow View

  • You can also view actions in a Workflow View that groups actions by workflow stage.

  • In each workflow column, each action allows you to view the edit action window.

  • The Workflow view is visible at the Home Folder, Project Folder & Team Folder levels

Notes

  • The column headers in the register view can be edited by going to the 'Edit Column' button and accessing the Register View Column Settings.

  • You can archive an action by going to the Active section in the register view. Select the action you want to archive, then click the 'Archive' button.

  • Add a new action by clicking the green Add Action button in the top right section.
