Setting up notifications for list property expiry dates in Dashpivot Web allows you to receive alerts when a date-based property (such as an expiry date) is approaching or has passed. This helps ensure important records such as licences, certifications, or equipment registrations remain up to date.

Video Walkthrough

Prerequisites

Before you begin make sure you have the following:

  • Plan: All Plan Types

  • Permission:

    • Home Folder (List Library) – Org Controller (or higher)

    • Project Folder – Project Controller (or higher).

  • Skills Required: Dashpivot

  • Device Type: Computer

  • Subscription: Dashpivot

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open up the list with the relevant Date Expiry field

  2. Click the bell icon on the top right hand-side of the column

  3. Select who needs to be notified from the dropdown menu

  4. Set when you want the notification to be sent, using the checkboxes

  5. Click Save.

Notes

  • (Optional) Select more than one user to be notified and choose more than one notification frequency if required.

  • Ensure the expiry date is a future date, as notifications are only sent for future dates.

  • If notifications are enabled after an expiry date has already passed, no alerts will be sent for that date.

  • Ensure the expiry date falls within the valid reminder window. If the reminder timing is updated (for example, from 7 days before to 30 days before) and today’s date is already past the new reminder trigger point, the notification will not be sent.
