Yes / No fields on Dashpivot Web templates allow form users to respond to questions using a simple binary choice. When editing templates, you can add Yes / No fields, update their labels, and adjust their behaviour to suit your form structure.

Before you begin make sure you have the following:

  • Plan: Not specified

  • Permission: Permission to edit templates in the relevant folder

  • Skills Required: Dashpivot

  • Device Type: Computer

  • Subscription: Dashpivot

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open the template you want to edit in the Template Editor.

  2. Locate the Yes / No field in the field list.

  3. Drag one of the following Yes / No field types into the template:

    • Yes / No – Provides a choice between Yes or No.

    • Yes / No / NA – Provides Yes, No, or NA options.

    • Yes / No with Text – Provides Yes or No options with an attached text field for additional comments.

    • Yes / No / NA with Text – Provides Yes, No, or NA options with an attached text field for additional comments.

  4. Hover over the field icon to access additional field options if needed.

Notes and Tips

  • Yes / No fields with a text option allow form users to enter additional details alongside their selection.

  • Use Yes / No / NA field types when a question may not apply in all situations.
