How to change the page orientation on Dashpivot Web

Learn how to update the page orientation so your PDF exports display in portrait or landscape

Written by Adriana De Souza

Page orientation in Dashpivot Web controls how pages appear when exporting forms to PDF (portrait or landscape). Changing this setting helps ensure forms print or display in the orientation that best suits your layout and content. Note that updating page orientation won’t modify forms already created — it only applies to future form exports from the template.

Prerequisite

Before you begin make sure you have the following:

  • Plan: Standard or above

  • Permission: Permission to edit templates in the relevant folder (Home Folder or Team Folder)

  • Skills Required: Dashpivot template management basics

  • Device Type: Computer (web browser)

  • Subscription: Dashpivot Web access

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Navigate to the folder where the template was originally created (for example, the Home Folder or a Team Folder).

  2. Click Template Library/Templates.

  3. Select the checkbox next to the template you want to update.

  4. Click Edit Template.

  5. In the Template Editor, select 'Page Orientation'

  6. In the dropdown, select either Portrait (Default) or Landscape.

  7. Click Save in the top right corner of the screen to finalise your changes.
