An Org Controller has the highest level of access within Dashpivot. It provides broad permissions to manage projects, templates, lists, dashboards, and business-wide settings.

Definition

An Org Controller is used to manage and configure key business resources and settings, including project folders, user roles, templates, lists, dashboards, and analytics.

What Org Controllers can do

Org Controllers have the same permissions as Project Controllers for all of the organisation’s project folders. In addition, they can:

  • Add and remove project folders

  • Add and remove Project Controllers for each project folder

  • Add and remove Org Controllers

  • Add, edit, and remove templates in the organisation’s Template library (in the Home Folder), manage template tabs, and manage template deployment to all team folders

  • Add, edit, and remove lists in the organisation’s list library (in the Home Folder), and manage list deployment to all project folders

  • Add, edit, and remove dashboards and charts in the organisation’s Analytics section (in the Home Folder)

  • Manage business settings, including the business logo and brand shade

When these permissions are required

Use Org Controller permissions when a user needs full org-wide access to manage structure, shared resources, and system settings.
