When you take photos inside the Dashpivot mobile app, you can embed (“stamp”) key metadata directly into the image (e.g., date, time, GPS location, who took it). This helps preserve evidence and prevents tampering when photos are downloaded or shared outside Dashpivot.
Video Walkthrough
Prerequisites
Before you begin make sure you have the following:
Plan: Standard or higher (as supported by the mobile app)
Permission: Access to Dashpivot App
Skills Required: Dashpivot
Device Type: Mobile device (phone or tablet)
Subscription: Active Dashpivot account
Step-by-Step Instructions
Open the Dashpivot mobile app on your phone or tablet.
Tap your Profile (usually in the bottom menu or top corner).
Select Photo Stamp Preferences from your profile options. Enable photo stamping if it isn’t already turned on.

Choose what information to stamp onto your photos. Common options include:
Date and time
GPS location
Photo creator
Organization Name
(List may vary by app version; choose the ones you need)
Note:
These preferences only apply to photos taken inside the Dashpivot app. Photos taken outside the app won’t include the stamps.
Each user must configure this on their own device; settings do not sync automatically across users.
Stamping overlays are embedded into the image file itself—this means the information stays visible even if metadata is stripped after download.
