How to Save Actions as PDF on Dashpivot Web

Learn how to save Actions as a PDF for documentation or sharing

Written by Nina Yang

Saving an Action as a PDF in Dashpivot Web allows you to download a formatted record of the action and its details. This is useful for documentation, reporting, or sharing action records outside the platform. If there are unsaved changes when downloading the PDF, Dashpivot will prompt you to save the changes before the file is generated.

Prerequisites

Before you begin make sure you have the following:

  • Plan: All Plan Types

  • Permission: Dashpivot Contributor

  • Skills Required: Dashpivot Navigation

  • Device Type: Computer/Browser

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open the My Actions module.

  2. Go to Assigned to You actions or Assigned by You actions.

  3. Open the action you want to save in the Edit Actions module.

  4. Click the Download PDF button.

  5. If there are unsaved changes, confirm the prompt to save the changes.

  6. After saving, the PDF will download automatically.

Notes

  • If unsaved changes are detected, a modal prompt will appear asking you to save the changes before downloading the PDF.

  • The PDF is generated only after the latest changes are saved.
