Autosave and draft mode act as a safety mechanism in the Dashpivot mobile app. As soon as you start editing a form, Dashpivot automatically saves your progress as a draft. This ensures your work is preserved if the app is closed, your device runs out of battery, or you are interrupted.

Prerequisites
You must be logged in to the Dashpivot mobile app.
You must have access to a template you can create records from.
Create a draft using autosave
Open the Dashpivot mobile app.
Tap Templates.
Select a template to view existing records.
Tap the green + button to create a new form.
Start entering information into any field in the form.
Look for the “Changes saved as draft” message at the top of the screen.
This message confirms the form has been saved as a draft.
The message may disappear, but autosave continues in the background.
Continue filling out the form.
Dashpivot continues to autosave your changes as you work.
Exit a form and keep it as a draft
Tap Cancel while editing the form.
Choose the option to keep the form as a draft if prompted.
Exit the form.
The draft is stored locally on your device.
Recover a draft after closing the app
Close or reopen the Dashpivot mobile app.
Tap Templates.
Open the same template you were using.
Locate the draft at the top of the records list.
Drafts are labelled Draft in yellow.
Drafts appear fainter with a dotted outline.
Tap the draft to reopen it.
Continue completing the form from where you left off.
Submit a draft
Open the draft.
Finish entering all required information.
Tap Save to upload and submit the form.
Rules
Autosave and draft mode only work in the Dashpivot mobile app.
Drafts are saved locally on your device.
Drafts are not visible to other users.
Drafts cannot be accessed from the web or other devices.
Drafts are deleted if the app is uninstalled.
