Duplicating information from one cell to another within the same table allows you to automatically display the same value in multiple locations without re-entering it. This is useful when building templates that require repeated information, helping reduce errors and save time. This feature applies to tables within Dashpivot templates.

Prerequisites

Before you begin make sure you have the following:

  • Plan: FreeTrial, Standard, Pro, Premium, Platinum

  • Permission: Org Controller, Project Controller, Team Controller

  • Skills Required: Dashpivot

  • Device Type: computer

  • Subscription: Dashpivot

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open the template containing the table where you want to duplicate a cell value.

  2. Identify the source cell that contains the value you want to duplicate.

  3. Click into the destination cell where you want the duplicated value to appear.

  4. Type = followed by the reference of the source cell (for example, =A1).

  5. Press Enter to apply the formula.

  6. Save the template.

Note: This is only applicable to copying from one cell to another in a single table.
