How to Set Up a New Flow for Xero Bills on Flowsite

Learn how to create a new Xero Bills flow in Flowsite to automatically populate Xero bills using Dashpivot data

Automate bill creation in Xero using Dashpivot data through Flowsite. By connecting Dashpivot and Xero, teams can reduce manual data entry, improve billing accuracy, and streamline financial workflows.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have the following:

  • Plan: All plan types

  • Permission: Flowsite Contributor

  • Skills Required: Workflow automation

  • Device Type: Computer/Browser

  • Subscription: Dashpivot, Flowsite, Xero

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open Flowsite and go to the Connections tab.

  2. Confirm that connections are configured for both Dashpivot and Xero.

  3. Open the Flows tab.

  4. Under Xero, click Create Flow.

  5. Select Populate Xero Bills with data from Dashpivot.

  6. Enter a name for the flow.

  7. Link the flow to the relevant template ID.

  8. Map the required Dashpivot fields to the corresponding Xero bill fields.

  9. Click Save to create the flow.

Notes

  • Dashpivot and Xero must both be connected to your Flowsite workspace before creating the flow.

  • Field mappings control how Dashpivot data is transferred into Xero bill fields.

  • Template IDs connect the flow to the correct Dashpivot workflow template.
