Prerequisites

Before you begin make sure you have the following:

  • Permission: Dashpivot Contributor

  • Skills Required: Workflow Automation

  • Device Type: Computer/Browser

  • Subscription: Dashpivot, Flowsite, Xero

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Ensure the tracking category or tracking item has been set up in Xero.

  2. Ensure a corresponding list exists in Dashpivot with all items matching exactly.

  3. Switch on Payroll Categories by navigating to Payroll > Payroll Settings > Payroll Categories, then link it to the tracking category.

  4. Map the Dashpivot timesheet column containing the tracking items within your Flowsite Xero timesheet flow.

Notes

  • Matching items between Dashpivot and Xero must be identical to ensure accurate mapping.

  • This setup enables project-level financial tracking, including labour costs.
