How to Add and Configure a Scan Sitemate ID Field on Dashpivot Web

The Scan Sitemate ID field in Dashpivot allows you to scan a Sitemate user’s digital ID directly into a form using the Dashpivot app. This is commonly used for crew sign-ons, pre-starts, or attendance tracking, where a supervisor scans each worker’s QR code to automatically capture their details. The field records key information such as name, company, signature, date, time, and location, creating an accurate digital register within the form.

Prerequisites

Before you begin make sure you have the following:

  • Plan: Any Dashpivot Plan

  • Permission: Atleast Org Controller

  • Skills Required: Dashpivot

  • Device Type: computer (to edit the template), mobile device with Dashpivot Mobile App (for scanning in the app)

  • Subscription: Dashpivot Web

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open the template you want to edit in Dashpivot Web’s Template Editor.

  2. In the Fields Editor, locate the Scan Sitemate ID field type.

  3. Drag and drop the signature field into your template where you want it to appear.

  4. By default, the field label will be set to Scan Sitemate ID — click directly into the field label to customise it if required.

  5. To change the signature field type (e.g., to Manual Signature or Approval Signature), hover over the field icon and select from the available options.
