Introduction
Dashpivot makes it easy to record, manage, and analyse waste tracking dockets across your projects. Capture load quantities on site using the mobile app, sync data in real time, and use Dashpivot's analytics to monitor cumulative waste volumes — all in one system.
How it works
Key Features
Track quantities of waste being recorded in real time
Ensure compliance with environmental and legal reporting requirements
Store all your dockets in one place — easy to review, export, or search during an audit
The Dashpivot app is easy to use in the field (on phones and tablets) and supports rich data inputs like photos, videos, and electronic signatures
Dashpivot's analytics help you filter all your data to draw insights
Workflow notifications can automatically notify the right person once a load is complete
Export professional company-branded PDFs of each docket with your logo and auto-populated project data
Best Practices
Set up your waste tracking docket template as a workflow so you can easily track which loads have been delivered and which haven't — it can be as simple as two columns, one for 'collected' and one for 'disposed'
Set up workflow notifications if you need to notify someone at each step
Use a table for tracking each load, even if each docket only records one load. This makes quantities compatible with Dashpivot's analytics. Make sure the column for recording quantity is set to 'Number', and any parameters you want to filter by (e.g. company, origin location, material class) are set up as dropdown lists within the same table
Use list fields where possible (e.g. waste type, origin location, transportation contractor) to make filtering easier in the register view. You can also filter or break down total waste volume by these variables in any analytics charts you create
In the template settings, set the form thumbnail to display the date so it's clear which day each docket is for
In the template settings, sort forms by the date field on your template (not the creation date) — this determines which day quantities appear for in the analytics
Include a 'manual signature' field so that external users without a Dashpivot account can sign off if required — for example, personnel at the disposal location confirming the load has been received
Include a photo field so that photos of receipts, waste, or weigh bridge readings can be captured and attached to the docket
