Best Practices
Include a photo field so that photos and videos can be attached to the inspection
Use list fields where applicable (e.g. plant model, plant ID) to make it easy to find records later via the register view, and filter by list items on any analytics charts
In the template settings, sort forms by the date on the form (not the creation date)
In the template settings, set the form thumbnail to display the plant ID so it's easy to identify which inspection was for which plant item
Getting started
You can access a free equipment inspection template from Dashpivot's Template Library. Go to Templates > Add Template > Browse free templates.
You can also generate a custom plant inspection template using Storm AI Templates. Go to Templates > Add Template > Build with Storm, then describe the template you need in the prompt field — for example:
"Plant inspection checklist with photo field, list fields for plant model and plant ID, sorted by inspection date, and thumbnail set to plant ID."
Select Generate, then click Build. You can also use the voice recorder to dictate your prompt instead of typing.
