This guide explains how to create and configure a new flow in Flowsite for integration with Microsoft Power Platform. This process allows users to connect Dashpivot data with Power Platform workflows, enabling automation and data syncing across systems.

Prerequisites

Before you begin make sure you have the following:

  • Plan: All Plan Types

  • Permission: Flowsite Contributor

  • Skills Required: Workflow automation

  • Device Type: Computer/Browser

  • Subscription: Flowsite, Dashpivot, Microsoft Power Platform

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. In the Connections tab, ensure Dashpivot is connected

2. Select the Flows tab at the top & click Create Flow

3. A flow selector modal should appear with a thumbnail Dashpivot Hosted Source for Power Platform.

4. Click on the flow thumbnail and a new Dashpivot Hosted Source flow will be created.

5. Configure the flow by providing a Trigger time in the recurring time trigger block.

6. Define the System, Workspace, and Module Source:

1. Templates → Paste the Template ID into the input

2. Actions → This will generate a CSV of the actions from the selected workspace

7. Once done, press the "Save" button to automatically trigger the first run before inputting the access URL/username/password into Power Platform

8. Next open Microsoft Power Platform to complete the link of the flow
