Archiving templates in Dashpivot helps you keep your workspace sorted by moving unused templates out of your active list while preserving all existing records and analytics. This feature is designed for users who no longer need certain templates but want to retain their data for future reference within the Dashpivot platform.

Prerequisites (as applicable)

Before you begin make sure you have the following:

  • Plan: Standard

  • Permission:

    • Home Folder: Super User, Org Controller

    • Team Folder: Super User, Org Controller, Project Controller, Team Controller

  • Skills Required: Dashpivot Template management

  • Device Type: Computer

  • Subscription: Dashpivot

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open the template library and select the template you want to archive.

  2. Click Archive to move the selected template out of your active templates.

  3. (Optional) Select multiple templates at once to archive them in bulk.

Note: We strongly recommend you do NOT delete templates, as you will lose all information contained within them, and any associated analytics references. This content may not be able to be recovered.
