A Project Controller is a permission level in Dashpivot that provides management access within specific project folders. These permissions allow a user to control project-level structure and resources without access beyond those projects.

Definition

A Project Controller is a Dashpivot role that provides administrative permissions within one or more assigned project folders.

What Project Controllers can do

Project Controllers have the same permissions as Team Controllers for all team folders within a project folder. These permissions allow them to manage project structure and access at the project level.

Project Controllers can:

  • Manage assigned project folders

  • Add and remove team folders within their project folders

  • Add and remove users within their project folders

Note: Project Controllers can add or remove other Project Controllers for their project folder.

When these permissions are required

Project Controller permissions are required when a user needs to manage access and structure within specific project folders without permissions beyond those projects.
