A Team Controller is a permission level in Dashpivot that provides management access within a specific team folder. These permissions allow a user to manage access, content, and settings at the team level without project- or organisation-wide permissions.

Definition

A Team Controller is a Dashpivot role that provides management permissions within one or more assigned team folders.

What Team Controllers can do

Team Controllers have permissions to manage access, content, and settings within the team folders they are assigned to. Team Controllers can:

  • Add new templates

  • Add, edit, and remove dashboards and charts in the organisation’s Analytics section

  • Add and remove team members in the team folder

  • Manage team settings, including team photo tags

  • Delete photos uploaded by any user in the team folder

  • Delete forms created by any user in the team folder

  • Edit photo descriptions for photos they uploaded

Note: Team Controllers can add or remove Team Controllers for their project folder.

When these permissions are required

Team Controller permissions are required when a user needs to manage users, content, or settings within a specific team folder but does not require project-level or broader access.
