Best Practices
Set up your quote template in your company Template Library (in your Home Folder) to keep the quoting process and fields consistent
Use a table field to itemise costs, and include formulas to auto-calculate costs per row (e.g. cost × quantity). If you want a total at the bottom of the table, make sure the table is set to "prefilled"
Use list fields set as dropdown menus where applicable (e.g. person, service) to make it easy to find and filter records in the register view and filter by list items in analytics charts
Mark fields as required if they must be completed before submitting a quote
In template settings, sort forms by the date on the form rather than the creation date
Set up a frequency chart in the analytics section to track quote volume over time, and a ratio chart to monitor quote statuses and identify trends
